GETTING THERE [pdf]
On the following map of Dublin city centre, note that you are aiming for the Blue Dot. It is unfortunate that the labels for the dots are mainly for hospitals and that the blue dot does not have a label. Although Trinity Hall is part of Trinity College, it is not where you are aiming for. You want College Green, the Front Gate of Trinity College.
Bus More than one bus company operates a bus service between the airport and the city center.
Taxi is a possibility that costs between 20 and 40 euro. The queue at the airport is to the right as one exits the arrivals lounge. Do not get into a taxi and ask to be taken to the university, unless you know which of TCD, UCD, DCU, DIT, NUIM you wish to go to.
Aircoach costs 7 euro one way or 12 euro round-trip. It is the big blue bus outside the arrivals lounge to the left of the long queue of people waiting for a taxi. The Aircoach makes about one stop before arriving at Trinity.
Dublin Bus operates the 747 bus service that goes to the city centre and leaves you close to Trinity College. The cost is €6 one-way or €10 return/roundtrip. Dublin Bus also operate regular bus services that take longer but cost less. The 16A service leaves you on O'Connell Street, a 5 minute walk from Trinity College.
This map shows Trinity College as situated in Dublin city centre. Arrival from Dublin Airport will be from the north of the city, so you will need to cross the river before arriving at Trinity College.
The following map shows the west of Trinity College. If you arrive on the Aircoach, you will descend
from the coach just after the building marked "Regent House".
To enter the College, you may either walk through the grounds (which you should make time to do at least once), or you may continue further up Pearse Street. Before Pearse Street reaches the intersection of Lombard Street and Westland Row, one finds the Science Gallery. This is a very new building which exists directly where the words "The Arches" appears on the map below. There is a gate between the gallery and the gym, and just through the gate, under the bridge, you can see the O’Reilly Institute. Take the staircase up between the O’Reilly and the Hamilton building. Enter and take a left to the Department of Computer Science and Statistics. MOG 2010 will be held in the large conference room on your left.

MOG 2010 is co-located with INLG 2010 in Ireland. MOG is held at TCD at the center of Dublin. INLG 2010 is located at Trim, an hour and a half drive from Dublin. A coach service to the INLG conference location at Trim leaves from Nassau street adjacent to TCD on Wednesday morning. For more information see this site.
